It Started with Dogwood Branches
This morning began the way all beautiful things should. Fresh-cut branches of pink and cream dogwood, still dewy from the morning, arranged exactly where they needed to be. The light was soft. A Day of Pure Magic
For several hours inside our home in Dayton, an incredible group of women poured their hearts into every single detail.
Beginning with Payton and Chelsie - what they created that day with makeup and hair left every single one of us breathless, as it always does. We are talking about looks that felt genuinely pulled from another era. Soft and romantic and undeniably regal.
The sets we designed and built for this shoot were made to transport you. We did not rent a historic estate or travel to some grand location. We built the Regency world right here, inside our own home, piece by piece, with intention. And when our client Mia stepped in front of the camera for the first time, it was clear immediately that something extraordinary was happening. She owned every frame like she was born for exactly this.
And Victoria. Watching Victoria work is something I will never take for granted. She captured this entire day on camera with an eye for beauty that genuinely took my breath away when I saw the first images come through. What you see in this gallery is her vision as much as it is mine.
To every single woman who showed up that day, gave everything she had, and helped bring this vision to life: thank you. From the bottom of my heart. 🌸
