From Nervous to Radiant - Here's How We Get You There
A Blush Boudoir Experience is designed to guide you through every part of the process, from planning and professional hair and makeup to your private photoshoot, fully guided posing, image editing and a separate reveal where you choose your favorite photographs. Our team handles each stage so you always know what to expect and what comes next.
Below, we’ll walk you through exactly what to expect - from requesting the pricing guide to receiving your final images and products.

All of our Blush Boudoir Experience packages are all-inclusive, which means they include makeup, hairstyle, the photo shoot itself, a set of digital images files you can keep AND a product credit good toward albums, metal prints or additional images.
If you’d like to talk things through, you’re always welcome to schedule a consultation call. Our studio director Billy is happy to answer your questions, explain the differences between packages and help you decide what feels like the best fit for you.
Some clients prefer to read everything on their own, others like to talk it through. Either is completely fine.
Step 2: Booking Your Blush Experience
Once you’re ready, you’ll complete our booking form where you’ll select your Blush Experience and choose your session date.
After submitting the form, you’ll receive:
- a contract to review and sign
- an invoice link that outlines your payment schedule; we offer weekly, bi-weekly or monthly payments
Your first payment is due within 12 hours to officially reserve your date. This allows us to secure the studio and schedule our team specifically for you.
Step 3: Confirmation & Scheduling
Once your session retainer is paid, your date is officially booked.
We’ll schedule our team and send you a confirmation email so you can relax knowing everything is in place for your Blush Experience.
Step 4: Pre-Session Prep & Questionnaire
About a week before your session, you’ll receive a reminder email with:
- tips on how to prepare for your shoot
- what to bring
- what to expect on the day of your experience
You’ll also complete a short questionnaire that helps our team tailor the experience to you. This allows us to understand your comfort level, preferences, and anything you’d like us to know so we can give you the best possible experience.
You’ll always have control over how your session feels. You can be as conservative or as provocative as you’re comfortable with, and you’re encouraged to share what you love, what you’re unsure about, and what you want more or less of during your session.
Step 5: Your Blush Experience Day
When you book a session with Blush Boudoir, the studio is yours for the day. We never double-book or schedule multiple clients on the same day. From the moment you arrive, every member of our team - photographer, hair stylist, and makeup artist - is focused entirely on you.
On the day of your shoot, you’ll arrive at our private studio where our hair and makeup team will greet you.
You’ll be offered a comfy robe and a refreshing drink to enjoy while you’re in professional hair and makeup for about an hour. This relaxed start gives you time to settle in, enjoy being pampered and ease into the experience before your photoshoot begins.
Once you’re ready, your photographer (Tracy or Victoria) will take you upstairs to change into your first outfit and begin your session.
Fully Guided, Start to Finish
You do not need any modeling experience. Your photographer guides you throughout the session, including posing, expression, hand placement and body positioning, so you are never expected to know what to do on your own.
If your Blush Experience includes a second makeup look, your makeup artist will apply it about halfway through your session, giving you even more variety in your final images.
By the time your session is finished, the goal is for you to walk out feeling confident, energized and polished, and many clients make plans afterward while they’re already dressed up and camera-ready.
Step 6: Image Selection & Light Editing
After your photoshoot, our photography team carefully culls and fully edits your images before you see them. Your reveal is scheduled 2 to 5 days after your photoshoot, giving us time to prepare your finished photographs rather than rushing through a same-day reveal. We don’t rely on heavy retouching. Our photographers use lighting, posing and angles during the session to create flattering images in-camera, then carefully edit each photograph selected for your reveal while keeping the finished result natural and recognizable.
Once editing is complete, you’ll have the choice to either:
- be invited back to the studio for an in-person preview session
- receive a private gallery link and password to preview your images at home
Step 7: Preview Session & Ordering
During your preview session, you’ll see all of your edited images and select your favorites.
Each Blush Experience includes:
- a product credit
- a set number of images you can download
- the option to use those images toward printed products such as our Blush Signature Album or Vivid Metal Print
You’ll also have the option to add additional images to your collection if you choose. There is no obligation to purchase anything extra, and if you only want digitals your product credit can be applied toward additional downloadable images.
You don’t need to know exactly what you want before your preview. We’ll help guide you through your image and product options in a way that feels comfortable and clear.
Step 8: Image & Product Delivery
Once your final invoice is paid and your product order contract is signed, you’ll receive a private download link and password for your selected images
If you’ve ordered printed products, your photographer will design your artwork and place the order with our professional photo lab.
Print products are typically ready within 7–10 days. Once complete, we’ll either:
- ship them directly to you and email a tracking link, or
- notify you when they’re ready for pickup at the studio
