From Nervous to Radiant - Here's How We Get You There
A Blush Boudoir Experience is more than a photoshoot - it’s a fully guided, confidence-building experience designed to help you feel comfortable, celebrated, and truly seen. For many women, it becomes a surprisingly fun and empowering day, one filled with laughter, connection and moments that feel both exciting and meaningful. Below, we’ll walk you through exactly what to expect - from requesting the pricing guide to receiving your final images and products.
Step 1: Requesting the Pricing Guide
When you request our Pricing Guide, we’ll email you a private link so you can review all of our Blush Experience options on your own time, without pressure.
If you’d like to talk things through, you’re always welcome to schedule a consultation call. Our studio manager Billy is happy to answer your questions, explain the differences between experiences, and help you decide what feels like the best fit for you.
Some clients prefer to read everything on their own, others like to talk it through. Either is completely fine.
Step 2: Booking Your Blush Experience
Once you’re ready, you’ll complete our booking form where you’ll select your Blush Experience and choose your session date.
After submitting the form, you’ll receive:
- a contract to review and sign
- an invoice link that outlines your payment schedule; we offer weekly, bi-weekly or monthly payments
Your first payment is due within 12 hours to officially reserve your date. This allows us to secure the studio and schedule our team specifically for you.
Step 3: Confirmation & Scheduling
Once your session retainer is paid, your date is officially booked.
We’ll schedule our team and send you a confirmation email so you can relax knowing everything is in place for your Blush Experience.
Step 4: Pre-Session Prep & Questionnaire
About a week before your session, you’ll receive a reminder email with:
- tips on how to prepare for your shoot
- what to bring
- what to expect on the day of your experience
You’ll also complete a short questionnaire that helps our team tailor the experience to you. This allows us to understand your comfort level, preferences, and anything you’d like us to know so we can give you the best possible experience.
You’ll always have control over how your session feels. You can be as conservative or as provocative as you’re comfortable with, and you’re encouraged to share what you love, what you’re unsure about, and what you want more or less of during your session.
Step 5: Your Blush Experience Day
When you book a session with Blush Boudoir, the studio is yours for the day. We never double-book or schedule multiple clients on the same day. From the moment you arrive, every member of our team - photographer, hair stylist, and makeup artist - is focused entirely on you.
On the day of your shoot, you’ll arrive at our private studio where our hair and makeup team will greet you.
You’ll be offered a comfy robe and a refreshing drink to enjoy while you’re in professional hair and makeup for about an hour. Most clients say this part of the experience helps calm nerves and sets the tone for the day.
Once you’re ready, your photographer (Tracy or Victoria) will take you upstairs to change into your first outfit and begin your session.
Fully Guided, Start to Finish
You never need to worry about how to pose, what to do with your hands, or how to look confident in front of the camera.
We coach everything, gently and clearly. Your photographer will guide your body positioning, expressions, and movement in a way that feels natural and encouraging. You are always in control, and we move at a pace that feels right for you.
If you’ve selected the Gold or Platinum Blush Experience, your makeup artist will apply a second makeup look about halfway through your session, giving you even more variety in your final images.
By the time you’re finished, most clients walk out feeling confident, energized, and glowing. Many even make plans afterward since they’re already feeling polished and put together.
Step 6: Image Selection & Light Editing
Within five days of your session, your photographer will carefully review all of the images and select the strongest ones.

Each selected image receives a light, professional edit. We don’t rely on heavy retouching because our photographers use expert lighting, posing, and angles to capture you beautifully in-camera. The goal is to show the very best version of you, not an over-edited version that doesn’t feel like you.
Once editing is complete, you’ll have the choice to either:
- be invited back to the studio for an in-person preview session
- receive a private gallery link and password to preview your images at home
Step 7: Preview Session & Ordering
During your preview session, you’ll see all of your edited images and select your favorites.
Each Blush Experience includes:
- a product credit
- a set number of images you can download
- the option to use those images toward printed products such as our Blush Signature Album or Vivid Metal Print
You’ll also have the option to add additional images to your collection if you choose. There is no obligation to purchase anything extra, and if you only want digitals your product credit can be applied toward additional downloadable images.
Most clients come in with a general idea of what they want, and we’ll help guide you in a way that feels comfortable and clear.
Step 8: Image & Product Delivery
Once your final invoice is paid and your product order contract is signed, you’ll receive a private download link and password for your selected images
If you’ve ordered printed products, your photographer will design your artwork and place the order with our professional photo lab.
Print products are typically ready within 7–10 days. Once complete, we’ll either:
- ship them directly to you and email a tracking link, or
- notify you when they’re ready for pickup at the studio

The confidence you feel walking out of the studio is the same confidence you’ll feel every time you open your album or see your images.
